How you can leave a gift in your Will
Step 1 - Request an Information Pack

Step 2 - Consider your loved ones and the causes that matter most
This is probably the most powerful gift you can ever make. Think about your family, friends and the charitable causes that have meant so much to you in your lifetime.
Step 3 - Think about the type of gift you’d like to leave The Kids Research Institute Australia
- Residual –This is a gift of part or all of what is left in your estate once your loved ones have been taken care of and taxes and debts have been paid.
- Percentage - This gift allows you to allocate a share or proportion of your estate to each beneficiary. At the time of making your Will, you do not need to know how much your estate will be worth, just what size share you would like to leave to each beneficiary.
- Pecuniary - A specific nominated sum of money. It is also important to consider the future value of any intended pecuniary gift.
Step 4 - Make or update your Will
Your solicitor can draw up a Will for you or update your existing Will to include a gift to The Kids Research Institute Australia. We have some suggested wording, which might help your solicitor with the legal wording to make sure that you include The Kids properly.

If you are comfortable, please inform us as well - we would like the opportunity to thank you for your generosity and keep you up to date with the work we are doing. By letting us know you have included a gift in your Will to The Kids, you will also be welcomed to the Fiona Stanley Circle.
The research being conducted at The Kids improves the lives of all children, and that's why I'm very happy to give to The Kids Research Institute Australia in my Will. I can easily see where the value is - children are our future. It can sound glib, but it's true.
